Terms of Service

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms of Service govern the access and use of the LexicAIze platform (lexicaize.com), an AI-powered reading and language learning tool owned by MARIANO GÓMEZ LABRADOR.

By registering or using the service, you fully accept these terms. If you disagree, you must refrain from using the platform.

2. Registration and user account

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity performed from your account.
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Plans, pricing, and billing

LexicAIze offers a free plan with limited features and paid subscription plans. Pricing details are available on the pricing page.

• Billing: payments are processed via Stripe. Prices are displayed in the currency shown at the time of subscription.
• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no additional charges will be made.
• Price changes: we reserve the right to modify prices with at least 30 days' notice. The price in effect at the time of renewal will apply.

4. Right of withdrawal

Under European consumer protection regulations, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of purchase, without giving any reason.

However, in accordance with applicable legislation, if you expressly request immediate execution of the digital service during the withdrawal period and access digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may not apply once the service delivery has begun.

5. Refunds

Except as provided for the right of withdrawal:

• Amounts for the current period are non-refundable.
• Billing errors or duplicate charges will be refunded upon verification.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Use the platform lawfully, ethically, and in accordance with these terms.
• Not attempt to access restricted areas, manipulate the service, or reverse-engineer it.
• Not use the service for purposes that violate third-party rights.
• Not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools for mass access.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these conditions.

7. Intellectual property

All platform elements (design, code, text, logos, trademarks) are the property of MARIANO GÓMEZ LABRADOR or their legitimate licensors. Using the service does not grant you any intellectual property rights over the platform.

Content uploaded by users (EPUB texts, notes) remains the property of the user. LexicAIze does not claim ownership over such content.

8. Limitation of liability

LexicAIze is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• AI-generated translations and content are approximations and should not be considered official translations or professional linguistic advice.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

These limitations do not affect your consumer rights under applicable law.

9. Minimum age

LexicAIze is intended for persons aged 14 or older, in accordance with Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD). If you are under 14, you need parental or guardian consent to register and use the service.

10. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Substantial changes will be notified at least 15 days in advance via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract:

• You: may cancel your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting mrngl1991@gmail.com.
• Us: we may suspend or cancel accounts for breach of these terms, with prior notice when reasonably possible.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any disputes, the parties submit to the Courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable legislation.
